Synergy Homes Spearheads Bahamas Hurricane Dorian Relief Effort

The South Florida Home Builder Is Both Accepting and Delivering Donated Supplies to the Bahamas

Synergy Homes, LLC, a model and custom home builder in South Florida, is spearheading a relief effort to help the people of the Bahamas recover from the devastation caused by Hurricane Dorian.

Dorian was the fourth named storm of the 2019 Atlantic hurricane season, which runs until November 30. The storm officially became a hurricane on August 28, striking the Bahamas over the Labor Day weekend at Category 5 intensity and killing at least 50 people. The Grand Bahama and Abaco islands were among the worst-affected areas, receiving up to a 40-hour lashing from the most severe part of the hurricane – the eyewall.

“To aid the people of the Bahamas in recovering from the catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Dorian, we are now accepting donations of new and lightly used items at both our model home centers,” said Synergy Homes Regional Director Michael Fox. “Supplies can be dropped off at any time during business hours.”

Synergy Homes’ model home centers are located at 4568 Royal Palm Beach Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida and at 2962 SW Savona Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Both centers are open seven days a week. Monday through Saturday, the open hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sunday’s open hours are 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Said Fox, “We will be making several secure trips by boat over to the Bahamas in the coming weeks to assist in bringing over much needed items for everyone affected. The first runs over to the islands will deliver fundamentals like food, water, gasoline, etc. The next runs will bring building supplies intended to help – quite literally – rebuild those communities devastated by the storm.”
